Free E-book Is Out!

A few months ago, I sat down and started compiling all the best tips on getting bigger and stronger that I could remember coming across over the years. When I’d gotten down everything I could recall from memory, I started leafing through old issues of Men’s Fitness and Muscle&Fitness and searching emails I’d received from coaches like Alwyn Cosgrove and Jason Ferruggia years ago. Then I scoured the books on my shelves, searched the Web, and even looked under my couch cushions...

I learned and re-learned a lot about training in the process, and I figured my list would be a handy reference guide for future magazine issues. We always try to stuff every one full of quick, useful tips, and it’s tough to come up with them sometimes.

Then I realized that would mean you guys wouldn’t be able to read them RIGHT NOW. And that’s just too damn long!

So I’m giving the book away. Just sign up for my newsletter if you haven’t already, and you’ll get The 50 Best Muscle & Strength Tips.

I think you’ll be pleased. A lot of coaches (and shrewd marketers) give you one or two useful tips in promotions like this and then ask you to buy something else where the real information is. Well, fortunately for you, I’m nowhere near that shrewd! I’m giving away some of the best advice I’ve ever heard, because most of it was given away to me. Call it, “paying it forward.”

YOU’LL GET:
Jason DeMayo’s pullup program that helped take my max up to 16 reps in 10 weeks.
Nutrition tips and examples of how to periodize your workouts
Pointers on how to improve every big lift—squat, deadlift, bench press, and overhead
How to fix muscle imbalances while getting bigger
How to train 3 days in a row or once per week if your schedule demands it
How to “trick” your nervous system into lifting more weight
Which supplements work to build muscle
What equipment helps you make gains

50 tips. 21 pages. Check it out!

Lots of useful stuff, much of which I've never heard, particularly #'s 28, and especially 34. 25 and 26 had me saying "Oh no..." but I'm doing 44 so that one was a relief. Don't know where or when I'll be able to do #8 without wrecking the floor - but I bet it works! Already doing #37 and 39 and was glad to read those, since I was pretty sure I wasn't supposed to do that... But the most important tip is #11 because it eliminates schedule as an excuse to blow off training.

    Good job.

    Hey Stacey,

What kind of floor do you train on? It shouldn't do any damage :-)

It also works against a wall.

I train at home and home is a big old house with hardwood floors and plaster walls.

    ... but...there's always the basement! ;)
